Product Overview

The MFOG-24 is a marine-grade fiber optic gyroscope designed to provide reliable angular rate data for ship navigation and gyrocompass systems. Its solid-state construction withstands the continuous vibration and motion encountered in maritime environments.

Using the Sagnac effect, the MFOG-24 delivers consistent 2 deg/h bias stability without the maintenance requirements of mechanical gyrocompasses. The compact φ24×39mm form factor enables integration into space-constrained marine navigation consoles.
